Aiko Melendez has announced that she and her manager, Ogie Diaz, have decided to go their separate ways when it comes to their professional relationship.

In a Facebook post shared on Wednesday, August 12, the actress revealed that they had reached what she described as a "crossroads" in their business life. She said they mutually chose to follow separate paths professionally.

"My manager Ogie Diaz and I have reached a crossroads in our business life, and we have chosen to take separate roads," she wrote.

While their management partnership has come to an end, Aiko immediately clarified that there is no change in their friendship.

"Though one thing remains unchanged, we are still good friends. I deeply value the friendship we have built through the years," the actress added.

Aiko also thanked Ogie for the years they spent working together and for the bond that went beyond their professional arrangement.

"Always grateful Ogie, for the friendship, trust, and memories we’ve shared and will share," she said.

She ended her message on a more personal and affectionate note, writing, "Mahal pa din kita alam mo yan mader."

Ogie is known not only as a talent manager but also as a comedian and showbiz commentator. During his time managing Aiko, their working relationship was also accompanied by the friendship that the actress highlighted in her farewell message.

For her part, Aiko did not disclose a specific reason behind their decision to end their management setup. She also did not mention any conflict between them in her post. The actress emphasized gratitude and made it clear that Ogie remains an important friend despite the professional change.
