Aiko Melendez recently gave her followers a glimpse into her experience interviewing Zoren Legaspi for her YouTube channel, describing their conversation as a memorable reunion filled with laughter, stories and personal revelations.

According to Aiko, the interview lasted for an hour and was packed with so much conversation and entertainment that a single episode was not enough to contain everything they discussed.
“One hour of NON-STOP LAUGHTER, kwentuhan, and learnings,” Aiko wrote.
Because of the amount of material they recorded, Aiko said they had no choice but to divide their conversation into two parts.

Her guest was someone particularly special to her because Zoren was her very first love team in showbiz. Despite the many years that have passed since they were first paired professionally, Aiko said she remains grateful that their friendship has endured.
She described Zoren as someone she is still blessed to call a good friend and kumpare.
The actress also pointed out that Zoren is not known for frequently granting interviews. She described him as one of the more elusive personalities in Philippine entertainment when it comes to sitting down and openly discussing his life.
However, Aiko said that when Zoren does agree to an interview, audiences should expect plenty of surprises.
“But when he finally says YES to an interview… expect a BOMBSHELL! 💣😂” she wrote.
Aiko was particularly impressed by Zoren’s quick wit. She said his humorous remarks appeared to come naturally, with his punchlines being delivered instantly rather than prepared beforehand.
Behind his humor, however, Aiko saw a different side of her longtime friend.
She described Zoren as warm, sincere, intelligent and grounded, qualities that she said explain why she continues to enjoy talking with him even after knowing him for several decades.
The interview also touched on one of the most important parts of Zoren’s life: his relationship with actress Carmina Villarroel.
Aiko praised Zoren’s unconditional love for Carmina and their family. Having known him for many years, she said she had watched the couple build a home centered on love, respect, friendship, laughter and strong family values.

Aiko described the family as “almost close to perfection,” not because they are free from difficulties but because of the way they continue to stand together through them.
From being a young love team in showbiz to becoming lifelong friends and kumpare, Aiko said they revisited numerous memories and discussed revelations that made their conversation especially entertaining.
