McCoy de Leon just opened up about his current status following his split from former partner Elisse Joson, with whom he shares a co-parenting setup for their daughter, Felize.
When asked if finding a new relationship is on his radar these days, the Kapamilya actor offered a direct and grounded answer during his exclusive interview with PUSH ABS-CBN.

"Naku, ang layo. Parang wala (sa top three). Kasi ang dami ko ngang gusto. Gusto ko maging stable hindi lang ako, gusto ko maging stable yung anak ko, at yung family ko. Gusto ko sila yung makapag-relax na. Kaya ako nag-wo-work hard at dini-diskartehan yung mga trabaho ko ngayon," McCoy revealed.
McCoy also explained why he chooses not to post about his daughter frequently on social media, preferring to keep precious father-daughter moments stored safely in his own phone.

"Gusto ko ang nakikita ng mga tao yung family ko and baby ko. Kumbaga, sa akin, siguro personality ko yung mas nafi-feel ko yung love na once na kaming dalawa lang and sa family lang. Hindi ko naman sa ipinagdadamot pero alam mo yung feeling na ang tahimik pag kami lang," he shared.
Addressing his co-parenting dynamic, McCoy noted that he aims to be neither strictly rigid nor overly relaxed, but rather a good role model for Felize as she continues to grow up.
"Ako, basta lahat. Kung ano yung saan man masaya yung anak ko. Kaya gusto ko maging maingat, lahat ng gagawin ko sa industriyang ito. Gusto ko maging good example sa kanya."
On the professional front, McCoy continues to keep busy with a series of major screen projects, gearing up for the military thriller Ang Mamatay Nang Dahil Sa'yo alongside his role in the James Reid and Kathryn Bernardo series Someone, Someday.
