"Do you hold the truth? Do you like, you know, gatekeep whatever? Huwag mo munang ibigay ang lahat. Fans can't know the truth; kung ano ba talaga sila,” Jericho said.

"For me, I've always been open. Open ako sa feelings ko, sa relationship ko and wala akong gano'n with us [Janine].”

Jericho explained that he has reached a point in his life where he no longer worries that being open about his relationship could negatively affect his career. Instead, he wants audiences to recognize both of them for their dedication to their craft rather than for their romantic status.

"We're not selling anything about our relationship. We are both professional actors. I respect her as an actor. I respect myself as an actor,” he said.
