According to a report by Bandera, Nadia offered a surprisingly emotional and deeply personal perspective instead of a typical political endorsement.

When directly asked if she thinks the senator could handle a run for the Vice Presidency, she calmly responded in a viral YouTube video with, "Thy will be done. Only God knows."

But when pushed further about whether he actually wants to run, her protective instincts as a friend truly shined.

"Ang tanong, gusto ba niya?" she pondered. "Ako hindi ko alam, basta alam ko ang gusto ko para sa kanya magpahinga siya at mag-enjoy ng life niya."

It was a touching moment that highlighted her desire to see him genuinely happy and stress-free, far away from the exhausting demands of public service.

Nadia also addressed the endless wave of criticism that Robin constantly receives online. Having worked closely with him as a political affairs officer before, she assured everyone that the senator is entirely unfazed by the noise.

"Naku, manhid na ‘yun sa ganon, sanay na sanay na ’yun. Noong time pa lang nasa office ako ni Sen. Robin, ika nga eh konting kibot lang, trending na," she candidly shared.
She made it perfectly clear that despite the heavy bashing, she will always have his back. "Anything na makakatulong ako or anything he will need sakin, personal o hindi, nandyan ako para sa kanya."

However, her unwavering personal support does not mean she is ready to dive back into the chaotic political arena.

It can be recalled that she resigned from her position in his Senate office last year following a series of highly publicized controversies.

When asked if there was any chance she would return to her government job, her answer was absolute.

"Hindi ako babalik sa opisina. Kasi wala pa akong ginagawa na ganoon na ako. Ayoko na. Nothing can convince me," she stated firmly.

Fortunately, any past professional friction has been completely smoothed out. The actress happily revealed that she and the senator had a great chance to catch up and clear the air during the screening of "Bad Boy 3" last June.

Ultimately, this story beautifully reminds us that while political careers and office roles may eventually come to an end, genuine friendships built on mutual respect and care can definitely withstand the toughest of storms!

Renowned as the legendary "Bad Boy" of Philippine cinema, Robin Padilla successfully pivoted from an action-star career into politics. Upon securing the highest vote count in the 2022 senatorial elections, the actor-turned-politician currently heads the Senate Committee on Cultural Communities and Muslim Affairs.

Recently, Senator Robin addressed his absence from President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s fifth State of the Nation Address, offering a candid explanation for his decision to skip the event. The lawmaker stressed that his personal bond with Marcos was established long before entering public office, remaining entirely distinct from their differing political stances. Padilla admitted he intentionally opted out to avoid drawing unnecessary public attention, mindful of how his reactions during the 2024 ceremony went viral online. Although aligned with the political opposition, he clarified that no disrespect was intended toward the President, maintaining that the occasion should center strictly on the chief executive's national report.
