In a Facebook post, the veteran theater actress shared her frustration after discovering the renter’s unsettled obligations.
Isay said she was very careful about electricity consumption inside her home. She described herself as the “switch officer” because she regularly turned off lights and other switches whenever they were not being used.
However, the actress claimed that her tenant did not show the same level of care. The renter allegedly left behind an unusually high Meralco bill despite Isay’s efforts to conserve electricity.

Her concern was not limited to the electric bill.
According to the theater star, the tenant showed her proof of a ₱22,000 online payment. She later claimed that the payment record was not genuine.
Isay did not explain in the post how she discovered that the proof was allegedly fake. No additional documents or details about the transaction were included in the accessible caption.
The actress also revealed that the renter supposedly had a much larger unpaid balance involving the property.
“May 135k siyang di nabayarang rent,” she wrote.
The amount added to her frustration because she said she had previously listened to the tenant’s explanations and promises.
“Naniwala ako sa mga drama at mga pangako!” Isay added.
Her post showed how disappointed she felt after trusting the person who rented her property. She appeared especially upset about being left to handle expenses that she said should have been paid by the tenant.
Isay did not identify the renter in the post. She also did not share whether she had taken legal action or formally demanded payment for the unpaid rent and electricity charges.
