In a recent Instagram Story, the talent manager and entertainment personality shared a strongly worded message addressed to lawmakers participating in the impeachment proceedings. He emphasized that senators should remember the people who elected them into office.

"Sana, lahat ng senador sa impeachment court, defender ng taumbayan, hindi ng mga pulitikong kinikilingan nila," Ogie wrote.

He followed this by reminding public officials of the trust placed in them by Filipino voters during election season.

"Nakakalimutan nila na nung eleksyon, sa taumbayan sila lumapit, sana, taumbayan ang ipaglaban nila, hindi yung pansariling interest nila," he said.

Ogie concluded his post with a brief but pointed remark.
