The bakery that created the cake revealed that it treated the request like a regular customer order and only learned about its connection to Bea’s wedding after the event gained public attention.

In a statement shared with GMA News Online, Wadough’s explained that they were not aware that the cake would be part of the Kapuso actress and entrepreneur’s wedding celebration.

According to the bake shop, the cake followed its signature minimalist style, matching the couple’s decision to have a simple and intimate ceremony. The dessert included layers of red velvet, vanilla, and chocolate cake, complemented by a tablea ganache filling and finished with smooth buttercream icing.

The cake, which was priced at P3,000, featured a clean design with a decorative piped shell border around the top and bottom edges. At the center was the message “just married,” adding a personal touch to the celebration.

The bakery also shared that it could only provide limited information about the order because the person who placed it wanted to maintain privacy throughout the wedding preparations.

“That’s all we’re able to share, as the person who placed the order wanted to keep everything low-key,” Wadough’s said.

The shop’s usual ordering process requires regular cakes to be requested one to two days ahead, based on its posted guidelines on Facebook.
