He also credited both himself and Montenegro for Sophia's natural ability in front of the camera.

"Siguro nasa dugo namin ni Nadia ‘yung pag-aarte. Kaya gifted po si Sophia. So Sophia, I’m very proud of you. I love you. And actually kahapon lang magkatext kami."

Geisler also revealed that Sophia sought his approval before accepting opportunities in show business. Although he supported her decision, he admitted that he first reminded her to focus on her studies.

"Siyempre, unang una, gusto ko mag-aaral ka muna. Pero kung kaya niya ipagsabay, okay lang. Pero mas mag-focus siya sa pag-aaral. Business management kinukuha niya."

Sophia made her acting debut in Bad Boy 3, led by Robin Padilla. During the film's preview screening in June, Nadia Montenegro shared that it was Padilla who first suggested casting Sophia in the movie.

"Actually, hindi ko siya kinonvince, si Robin talaga ang may idea. Siya raw ang manager."

Geisler's latest remarks come after he and Montenegro gradually rebuilt their relationship as co-parents. The former couple reunited in August 2025 to celebrate Sophia's 19th birthday, with Geisler's wife, Jamie Evangelista, joining the family gathering. She also shared that her late husband, Boy Asistio, had long known the truth and that they were able to reach closure before his passing. Today, Geisler says he is simply grateful to witness his daughter pursue her dreams while continuing to excel in school.
