In a Facebook post, the comedian stressed that while his health continues to improve, his treatment is not yet over.

"Di pa po ako Cancer Free.. nagsaCyberknife pa po ako at immuno therapy… but malakas na ako at nagkakalaman na ang aking pangangatawan," he wrote.

The comedian also shared that the CyberKnife procedure has helped reduce the number of radiation sessions he needed.

"Ang bongga ng CyberKnife kasi ang 35 times kong radiation sa kanya 5 times lang."

Ate Gay went on to express his gratitude to God for giving him strength each day as he continues his treatment.

"Salamat Lord Jesus sa pang araw-araw na buhay… napakasaya ko ka piling ang mga katrabaho, pamilya at madlang Dabarkads. Salamat sa mga Anghel ko na patuloy ang pag gabay sa akin."

His clarification came after some online posts incorrectly announced that he had already become cancer-free. While recent MRI results showed that the lumps on his nose and neck had disappeared, Ate Gay previously shared that he still had remaining immunotherapy sessions to complete.

In recent days, the comedian also revealed that doctors detected a new lump near his neck and shoulder. He immediately underwent another CyberKnife procedure and assured supporters that he remains strong enough to continue performing while following his doctors' advice.

Earlier, Ate Gay shared another encouraging milestone in his cancer journey after revealing that his latest MRI results showed no more tumors in his nose and neck. The comedian thanked God, his doctors, and everyone who continued praying for him throughout his treatment. He also announced that he only had four remaining immunotherapy sessions before completing that phase of his medical care.
