LJ Moreno and Jimmy Alapag have finally shared why they decided to return to the Philippines after spending six years living in the United States with their children.

During their guest appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Thursday, July 2, the couple spoke about what led them to make the big decision and why they felt it was the perfect time to come home.

For LJ, returning to the Philippines was more than just a change of address. She said it was an answered prayer after years of hoping to come back and begin a new chapter with her family.
Jimmy, meanwhile, explained that their decision was guided by both career and family priorities. He said his previous work during the NBA season often required long trips that kept him away from home.

Because of his demanding schedule, LJ carried much of the responsibility of caring for their children while they were living in the U.S. The basketball coach said that returning to the Philippines has allowed him to spend more quality time with his family while continuing his career.
Jimmy has already started his new role as the head coach of the NLEX Road Warriors, allowing him to pursue coaching while staying closer to his loved ones.
The move has also opened new doors for LJ. The actress shared that she hopes to return to acting after stepping away from showbiz to focus on being a wife and mother abroad. She admitted that she missed working in the entertainment industry and is excited about the possibility of making a comeback.
Aside from discussing their return, the couple reflected on their 16 years of marriage. They credited their faith in God for helping them overcome many challenges, including difficult moments early in their relationship and the adjustments they faced while living overseas.
They also recalled a past breakup that eventually helped them become more mature as partners. LJ admitted that she used to be jealous, but both of them said those experiences strengthened their relationship over time.
Looking ahead, the couple remains optimistic about the future. They are excited to continue building their careers in the Philippines while raising their children in a place they proudly call home.
LJ Moreno is a former actress who is now a successful vlogger. She is married to Jimmy Alapag, a Filipino-American retired professional basketball player in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). They have three children, Ian Maximus, Keona Skye, and Calen Asher.
In a previous report by KAMI, LJ and Jimmy shared that they have to do household chores since they do not have a house helper in the US. Jimmy was responsible for doing the laundry while LJ had to take care of their children.
They also uploaded an intense vlog episode about a scary experience they had in the US. They recently almost had to evacuate from their homes due to a wildfire scare near their area. The actress also revealed that it was a scary experience for her and her family, especially for their son Ian who could be seen crying upon seeing the smoke outside their house.
