When Matteo asked if he had a major life regret, the veteran actor answered with a firm "of course." He described the agonizing realization that comes when the things that matter most are suddenly gone.

"You learn your lesson, Matt, and every day you learn something, and you just realize that the only time you realize it is when it's not there anymore. And it's painful, you know," John confessed.

Despite the deep pain of his past mistakes, John views his struggles as a turning point that pushed him to become a better version of himself. He shared that he has actively chosen to reconnect with his spiritual side to find true healing.

"Actually, I'm back with the Lord right now. I'm not gonna be corny and may Diyos talaga, Matt. Pag tinapik ka ng Diyos, masakit. I wish that to no one," he explained.

To wrap up his heavy realization, John gave a final piece of advice to the viewers, hoping his own life experiences could serve as a lesson for others.
