In an emotional Instagram post, Samantha shared that she gave birth to her son, Sebastian, at home, describing the experience as unexpected, sacred, and transformative.
“May 31 was my due date — 40 weeks exactly. It was also Scott’s birthday. We spent the day simply. We walked @darnathedoodle cooked and ate steak and eggs and even practiced parking in my car. Nothing extraordinary… yet,” she shared.

“That evening, I kept feeling like I needed to go to the bathroom. Again and again. By then, I looked at Scott and said, ‘I think it’s TIME!’ 🌊,” she said.
Samantha revealed that things quickly escalated afterward as she contacted her birth team and prepared for delivery at home, eventually choosing to surrender to the process.
“And then everything happened so quickly."
"There came a point where I stopped trying to control anything. All I could do was surrender, trust my body, and repeat in my mind: ‘LET GO AND LET GOD’"
"In the quiet of our home, surrounded by love, support, and peace, our son made his way into the world. Just before 2 AM, as we welcomed a brand-new month, we finally met Seb. 🩵,” she said.
After giving birth, Samantha described the moment as deeply empowering and emotional.
“After our quiet moment as a family, I looked at my birth team and said, ‘Wow. I can’t believe it. Birthing is a blessing, and I was built to birth.’”
“Everyone laughed and cheered. They told me, ‘You are such a queen, Sam. You did so well.’”
“And in that moment, I felt it. ✨ MAGICAL 💫”
She also emphasized the sacred and empowering nature of her birth experience.
“A birth that felt sacred. A birth that felt peaceful. A birth that felt deeply empowering.”
