Heart Evangelista candidly opened up about a past relationship during her guest appearance on the talk show Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, revealing that one former boyfriend made her feel like a “sugar mommy” because she often found herself carrying the financial responsibilities.

When asked about her views, Heart said she has no problem paying if she is the one who extends the invitation.
“Agree... [pag ako ang nag-aya] ako na ang magbabayad.”
She also shared that while she generally believes men should pay during romantic dates, she enjoys treating friends whenever they spend time together.

“Pag lalaki, oo naman… yes. Pero kapag kunwari sa pagkakaibigan I feel like [ako na ang magbabayad]… because I like to host… That’s me."
The conversation then shifted to whether she had ever spent money on a romantic partner. Heart quickly admitted that doing so was nothing new to her.
“Lagi akong gumagastos...sira ako sa lalaki,” she said, drawing laughter from the studio audience.
She explained that generosity has always been part of who she is.
“That’s my language of love. That’s always been my language of love.”
“I’m very, very giving. I’m very generous.”
While Heart said she naturally enjoys helping and giving to people she cares about, she recalled one relationship that left a lasting impression for a different reason.
“But I did have one boyfriend that I felt was not too [proper]... I didn’t like. There is something [about him] that left a bad taste in my mouth.”
Without revealing the identity of the former boyfriend, Heart admitted that there was a point in the relationship when she felt she was carrying too much of the financial load.
“Parang, I felt like ‘Okay...I feel like I’m a sugar mommy na’ parang ganiyan.”
The revelation sparked laughter during the interview, but Heart maintained a lighthearted tone throughout the discussion. When host Boy Abunda asked if she could provide a clue about the former boyfriend, she jokingly replied:
“They’re all good-looking.”

“Mabait naman [siya], baka kailangan lang talaga niya. Extra help,” she said.
