Rere Madrid just shared a deeply moving message for her husband, Gilas Pilipinas star Kai Sotto, following their surprise wedding in Alfonso, Cavite.

Taking to Instagram, Rere posted lovely photos from their special day, showing off their classic all-white ceremony and their wedding rings. Along with the beautiful photos, she also opened up about how marrying Kai is a literal dream come true for her.
Rere revealed that she has wanted to be a bride for a very long time. In fact, she even wanted that exact look for her 18th birthday party years back.
"Even before, pangarap ko na talagang ikasal. I still remember nung 18th birthday ko, tinanong ako kung anong theme yung gusto ko for my debut, and I said gusto ko parang bride yung vibe."

She explained that she chose that theme back then because she felt that true love was very rare.
"Kasi even back then, alam ko na hindi madaling makahanap ng totoong pagmamahal."
Everything changed when Kai came into her life. Now at 25, Rere is overjoyed that she found the person who could make her feel safe and loved.
"That's why I never expected na at 25, ikaw pala yung tutupad sa isa sa biggest dreams ko. Thank you mahal, because you made something real that I once thought was impossible for me."
Rere also expressed her deep gratitude to Kai for keeping their relationship strong and reassuring her whenever things got tough as well.
"Thank you kasi araw-araw mong pinaparamdam sakin kung gaano mo ako kamahal. Thank you for never letting our relationship fall apart, even during the days when everything starts to feel unclear," she expressed.
Looking ahead, the actress knows that marriage will have its ups and downs, but she is ready to face the future by Kai's side, as his wife.
"Ang dami pa nating pagdadaanan together — beautiful moments, hard days, and everything in between. But one thing I promise you is this: habang buhay kong hahawakan yung kamay mo," Rere promised.
As previously reported by KAMI in 2025, Rere Madrid talked about her brother Ruru Madrid’s generosity and how supportive he is when it comes to money matters. In an interview on Fast Talk With Boy Abunda she shared that she casually asks her brother for large amounts and he always responds kindly. The actress recalled a moment when she asked for PHP50,000 and Ruru immediately offered to send it without hesitation.
Meanwhile, in the same year, Ruru Madrid was shocked to learn that his sister Rere is in a relationship with Kai Sotto. Rere explained she didn’t intend to hide Kai’s courtship from Ruru, but he was busy at the time. Ruru described Kai as a good person and shared how his girlfriend Bianca Umali changed his strict attitude toward his sisters’ suitors. Kai and Rere’s relationship became public during the 2024 GMA Gala.
