Kristine Hermosa couldn't help but get emotional during a recent episode of House of D, the talk show she co-hosts with veteran actress Dina Bonnevie as well as Oyo Boy Sotto, Danica Pingris, and Marc Pingris.

The conversation turned sentimental as Kristine began to reflect on her relationship with her mother, Maria Alma Orille, one that touched the hearts of others who saw how Kristine teared up at one point in the clip.

After gathering herself, Kristine admitted that her perspective on her own mother completely changed after she became a mother to her and Oyo's kids and when she started raising her own children as well.

"I always tell her... ano ba yan, hindi lang sa nami-miss, it's more of... talagang ma-appreciate mo yung efforts nung mom mo pagka andun ka na rin, pag mom ka na rin. Grabe yung dinaanan ni mama."

Kristine also touched on a personal limitation, confessing that she isn't always the most expressive person when it comes to communication. She explained that she rarely reaches out through digital means too.

"Sana napaparamdaman din namin sayo kung gano ka namin kamahal. Hindi kasi ako ma-text, matawag, pero kapag nakakasama ko naman siya, tina-try ko yung best ko na ipakita sa kanya na special siya."

Closing her message with a sweet reassurance, Kristine made sure her mom knew exactly where she stood.
