In her interview on GMA Network’s “TRGGRD,” Barbie said she had just come from a late-night taping and was already exhausted when she attended the scheduled guesting in Pasay. They had even requested if her appearance could be moved later because she barely had rest.
“Parang puyat ako noon, galing taping,” Barbie recalled.
Despite this, she still arrived on time at around 11 a.m. However, she said she ended up waiting for hours with no clear update on her segment.

She later found out that another guest had been prioritized ahead of her.
“Malaman lamang namin ni mama, may inunang guest na hindi naman bigger star,” she said.
Barbie shared that she felt the decision reflected favoritism, especially since she believed the other guest had closer ties with the director.
“Parang mas close lang kasi dun sa director,” she added.
For her, the situation went against basic professionalism, stressing that call times and agreements should be followed regardless of personal relationships in the production.
“Let’s be professional,” Barbie stated.
She also pointed out that delays like this can affect other people involved, not just the talent waiting.
“Kasi hindi mo alam may naaargabyado kang ibang tao,” she explained.
Eventually, Barbie and her mother chose to leave the venue before her segment could start. Shortly after, the production team reportedly called them back and asked them to return.
“After, tumatawag yung production. Ay, kayo na po, kayo na po,” she shared.
Barbie said the staff and even the host later apologized and acknowledged the mishandling of the situation.
“Nag-sorry naman silang lahat,” she said.
While she admitted she was not yet a major star at that time, she said she still felt the need to speak up about respect and fairness in the industry.
She ended by emphasizing that mutual respect should always be present regardless of status in showbiz.
“Respeto. Mutual respect tayo sa lahat.”
