After completing Hyrox Hong Kong, veteran actress-comedian Ai-Ai delas Alas has confirmed that she is preparing for another international fitness race, this time in Rome, Italy.

She shared on Instagram on Friday, May 15, that she has already secured her slot for the upcoming Hyrox event, posting a photo of her ticket that displayed her real name.

The 61-year-old star also expressed excitement over combining her fitness goal with a spiritual visit abroad. She said she is treating the upcoming race as both a personal milestone and a continuation of her growing fitness journey.

“To God all the glory and honor. Super pray ako gusto ko po mag-Hyrox sa Rome and magsimba sa Vatican. Nadinig Niya,” she said in the caption.

Delas Alas noted that she will have four months to prepare for the competition scheduled in September, as she continues her training journey after recently finishing the Hyrox Hong Kong race.

She is expected to intensify her training routine as the months progress, building on her recent experience in Hong Kong.

“I thought I’d be slowing down but here I am signing up for HYROX and loving every painful minute of it.So grateful to God for the strength, the courage, and the opportunity to push beyond what I thought I could do,” she said.

Her latest announcement follows her strong performance in Hong Kong, where she completed the demanding fitness race. Several Filipino celebrities also joined the Hyrox Hong Kong event held from May 8 to 10, including David Licauco, Vince Maristela, Dominic Roque, Marco Gumabao, as well as couple Aubrey Miles and Troy Montero.

Ai-Ai delas Alas is a legendary Filipino actress and comedienne, widely celebrated as the country's "Queen of Comedy" for her iconic role in the blockbuster film Ang Tanging Ina. Throughout her decades-long career, she has garnered numerous awards for her versatile performances in both television and film while remaining a beloved figure in Philippine entertainment.

In another report, Shaina Magdayao reaffirmed her strong and lasting connection with ABS-CBN despite her projects with other networks. She expressed gratitude for being part of the TV5 series My Bespren Emman, where she was given new acting opportunities. The actress also reflected on how her career has evolved, moving from child star roles to more mature characters, including portraying a mother on screen.

Meanwhile, Ai-Ai delas Alas shared a heartfelt post revealing that her granddaughter, whom she affectionately calls “Donya Mia,” has become her greatest motivation to continue working hard. Despite the exhaustion from late-night schedules, the Comedy Queen said all her tiredness disappears whenever she thinks of her “baby girl.” She also jokingly referred to herself as “Loley,” a loving and hardworking grandmother who strives to provide the best for her apo, including clothes and toys.
