Kim Chiu couldn't hide her emotions in a recent Instagram post as she celebrated a major milestone for her brother, John Paul Chiu. It has been 12 years since John moved to Canada, and seeing him thrive has made Kim one of the proudest sisters in show business, one that she proudly flexed online.

In her post, Kim admitted that it’s hard for her to accept how much time has passed. She still views John as the little brother she grew up with, which leads to some funny moments between them.

"I still look at him as my baby bro... then he casually said, 'I’m 31 now.' Akala ko John 25 ka lang. Trentahin kana pala. Huhuhu," Kim shared with her loyal following.

Aside from his age, Kim is most impressed by the life John has built for himself abroad. She noted that he is currently juggling a lot of responsibilities, yet he never forgets his family despite it.

"Seeing you now, handling life, work, exams, your own home... and still making time to prepare food for my birthday despite all the stress... grabe, maka proud kaayo ka, John," she wrote.

Kim ended her message by expressing how much joy it brings her to see her brother happy and successful.

"Seeing you in your own world, happy and thriving, made my heart so full. Makahilak sa kalipay," Kim added, fully showcasing just how proud she is to be John's big sister.

Kim Chiu is a Filipina actress, television host, and singer who rose to fame after winning Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition in 2006. The gift came with a heartfelt note from "Momsy" Angelica, expressing her deep love and support for Kimmy. Kim expressed her gratitude, calling the gesture "sweet."
