In a poignant snippet shared on social media, Dani lauded her mother, Marjorie Barretto, for a pivotal decision that changed their family’s environment back then.

"I’m just glad my mom really saw that she did not deserve that and left," Dani shared candidly.
She recalled how she and her siblings witnessed the shouting and emotional turmoil during their younger years. Dani noted that while those moments left a mark on them as children, they also served as a powerful life lesson, attributing their collective resilience to Marjorie’s bravery for walking away from the situation.
"Yun yung childhood namin ng mga kapatid ko. Nasanay kami dun. We heard the yelling, the screaming, everything my mom went through," she began before revealing how it affected them, "Because she did that, I feel like that's why we're all strong women."
