“As a kid, mahilig talaga ako manood ng movies,” Joaquin said during an interview on “Oh My Gan.”
He explained that he realized his true calling about three years ago and eventually fell in love with the art after attending acting workshops. While his father’s position in the industry is a known fact, Joaquin clarified that Neil did not push him into the spotlight, though the director provides "valuable" advice for his journey.

“Tinuturuan niya ako paano umarte nang maayos, nang magaling,” Joaquin said.
