The discussion happened during the “Laro Laro Pick” portion of the show on Tuesday, April 21, where 70-year-old Nanay NekNek was introduced as one of the participants. During the segment, she opened up about her current life situation, revealing that she is the one taking care of her grandchildren after her own children left them behind to start their own families.
When asked about her remaining dreams,
Nanay NekNek shared, “Meron pa po. Ang mapagtapos ko ng pag-aaral yung mga apo ko.”

“Ano’ng pangalan niyang mga magulang na yan? Bakit nandito sa matanda yung mga bata? Kawawa naman ito. Diyos ko naman yang ganyang mga magulang! Pagkatapos tumirik ang mga mata, naglayasan na,” Vice said.
He further stressed his frustration over irresponsible parenting, saying,
“Hindi pwedeng happy-happy ka lang ng 3 hours, tapos yung lungkot, habambuhay sa matanda! Siraulong ito. Magsara sana yang… pintuan ng swerte mo! That’s just so unfair. That’s just so unfair.”
Vice Ganda also reminded viewers that while people make mistakes in life, responsibility should always follow decisions.
“Alam mo sa mga buhay, meron tayong mga desisyong nagagawang mali. Hindi naman tayo perfect eh. May mga nagagawa tayong desisyon. Pero make sure, lahat ng desisyon mo, kailangan, ikaw ang pumapasan—tama man ito o mali.”
He ended his message with hope that parents can still make amends and take steps to correct their past mistakes for the sake of their children.
