Veteran broadcaster and TV host Kim Atienza recently found more letters and tokens left at the resting place of his late daughter, Emman, weeks after first sharing how strangers continue to honor her memory.

In a recent Threads post, Atienza uploaded a short video showing handwritten notes carefully tucked into the gaps of Emman’s columbarium niche at the National Shrine of the Sacred Heart.
“Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We see you and we hear you,” he wrote.
During this visit, Atienza noticed an outpouring of new offerings, including bouquets, sampaguita, and even a bag of chips. Among them were heartfelt letters filled with admiration. One note read:

“Dear Emman, It’s great to see you today. You look lovely as always. God must be delighted to be blessed with a beautiful angel by His side. Thank you for being you. I love you always like a sister.”
Other messages reflected Emman’s impact on those who never met her.
“Naging inspirasyon si Emman para sa amin. Naging inspirasyon siyang piliin lumaban sa buhay kahit hanggang ngayon na wala na siya,” one letter said.
Some supporters also reached out to Atienza directly.
“I know that grief is not linear, but I pray you find pockets of rainbows amidst your cloudy days. Truly, may God bless you more,” one message read.
Online, netizens echoed similar sentiments.
“I feel every word in every letter. Oh God, please help us survive every day, may we feel the value of life more than anything in this world,” one commenter wrote.
Since Emman’s passing in October 2025 at age 19, Atienza has become more active in supporting people dealing with grief.
“Lahat tayo may krus. Maraming tao ang may krus,” he said in an interview.
He added:
“Hindi natin alam kung anong pinagdadaanan ng mga anak natin. Pakinggan natin, and a little kindness goes a long way.”
Kim Atienza, widely known as Kuya Kim, is one of the most trusted and recognizable personalities in Philippine media.
