Glenda Dela Cruz opened up about a serious health scare after posting a series of photos showing her confined in a hospital bed.

In her post, the entrepreneur detailed the events that led to her hospitalization and revealed the emotional moment she learned about her condition. She shared the full caption of her post, saying:

“April 16, I woke up and couldn’t move my left leg. Akala ko pagod lang… but after 10 minutes, mas nanghihina ako. I rushed to St. Luke’s QC ER. After the MRI, I broke down. Another stroke. Another clot in my brain. Hanggang ngayon, hindi pa rin malinaw kung bakit malapot ang dugo ko… kung bakit ako clot former. Good news and bad news—may nakita silang butas sa puso ko. Possibly the reason for everything. They will close it in 3 months. Not now… because my brain needs to recover first. Inborn ‘to. Hindi ko pinili ‘to. But I’m still here. Thank you, Lord, for giving me another life. Kakalabas ko lang po ulit ng ICU kahapon. As long as I live, I will never get tired of fighting for you guys. Para sa mga Anak, Pamilya, Kaibigan at para sa Brilliant Skin. Exodus 14:14, ‘The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still’.”

The businesswoman shared that doctors discovered another blood clot in her brain after she underwent an MRI scan. This confirmed that she had experienced another stroke, adding to her ongoing health challenges.

She also revealed that further tests showed a hole in her heart, which doctors believe may be connected to her condition. According to her, the medical team plans to address the issue in about three months, but only after her brain has fully recovered.

Despite the serious diagnosis, the entrepreneur expressed gratitude for still being alive. She shared that she had just been discharged from the intensive care unit and is now focused on recovery.

The celebrity business owner also emphasized that her condition is inborn and something she did not choose to have. Even so, she remained positive and expressed her determination to continue fighting.

She highlighted that she is staying strong for her children, family, friends, and her business. Her message reflected both vulnerability and resilience as she faced another difficult health setback.

Supporters online have since expressed concern and sent messages of encouragement after seeing her post.
