When asked if he considers himself a good son, Herras answered with honesty.
“Nagkaroon ako ng mga maling ginawa sa buhay, ng mga maling ginawa bilang anak; but overall, naging mabait naman po akong anak,” he said.

He added that despite his mistakes, he believes his parents felt his love and respect for them.
Herras also shared how much he misses his late mother, especially her unique way of caring for their family.
“Kung paano siya magsungit sa amin, lalo na sa aming dalawa ng kapatid ko,” he recalled.
Mark highlighted both the discipline and affection she showed.
The actor further spoke about his adoptive gay parents, whom he credits for shaping who he is today.
“I miss their company actually; lalo na nung time na they're okay pa,” Mark shared.
He noted how their presence brought joy and laughter into his life.
He admitted that there were moments of confusion during his younger years, particularly when seeing them express affection in public.
“Parang nawiwirduhan ako, pero ang bilisan lang,” he said.

“I am very thankful na sila 'yung mga magulang ko,” he said.
