Kapuso young stars Allen Ansay and Sofia Pablo have finally spoken up about persistent rumors surrounding the true status of their relationship, as fans continue to speculate about a possible romance between the two.

During an exclusive interview, Allen addressed the ongoing buzz and clarified that their connection remains unchanged as close friends despite public assumptions about them as a couple. He admitted that they are often surprised by the speculation surrounding them.
“Natatawa nga kami talaga kasi 'di pa naman ako sinasagot ni Sofia, may mga ganun na,” Allen said during the interview.
Allen went on to stress that their friendship has stayed strong throughout the years and has not been affected by the rumors or their growing popularity.

“And kumbaga, kami kasi sabi ko nga talaga, kahit before pa talaga, 'yung friendship namin hindi magbabago 'yun,” he said.
The actor also reflected on the long history of their bond, which has lasted for years since they first met in the industry.
“Six years na po kaming magkakilala. Dito na rin po talaga kami sa point na kumbaga hindi mawawala kung anong relationship na meron kami, 'yung friendship namin together,” he said.
Meanwhile, Sofia opened up about the pressures of public perception and how she handles criticism directed at her personality and career.
“Aminado naman ako na I really have to improve, even acting, pero kapag 'yung pagkatao ko, na-hu-hurt talaga ako. The people around me, they can really vouch hindi ako ganung tao,” Sofia said.
She also shared her perspective on dealing with judgment, saying she chooses to focus on proving herself through time rather than arguments.
“Pero syempre, the people will believe what they really wanna believe. Wala ka po talaga magagawa, papatunayan mo lang talaga na hindi ka ganun kasi time will tell naman eh,” she said.
Aside from addressing rumors, Allen also looked back on his humble beginnings and the support he received from his family as he pursued his dreams in Manila.
“Kahit mag-isa po siya sa Manila noon, wala siyang kasama. Sabi sa kanya, anak, ibibigay namin sa’yo ito kasi pangarap mo ‘yan,” Allen shared.
“And nung binigay po sa kanya, sobra-sobra pa po ang nakuha niya,” he added.
The two stars are set to appear together in the upcoming horror film Huwag Kang Titingin, which will premiere on April 15 under the direction of Frasco Mortiz.
