Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza marked the end of Women’s Month with a meaningful personal milestone after completing a 10-kilometer run at an all-women’s race in southern Metro Manila. The actress shared her experience on Instagram, highlighting not only the physical challenge but also the sense of unity she felt during the event.

The run was part of the AWR Asia Shine, considered the first all-women’s race on the continent. It took place on March 29 at Filinvest Alabang in Muntinlupa City. For Forteza, the event served as a fitting way to celebrate Women’s Month while promoting fitness and camaraderie.

“What a great way to end women's month!” Barbie wrote in the caption of her post.

She reflected on the energy of the event, describing how women supported one another throughout the race.

“Just ran 10k for SHINE @awrasiaseries and I really felt the community and support of all the women during the race. Cheering each other up, sharing laughs with friends and caring for one another.”

After completing the run, Forteza treated herself to what she called a restorative break.

“You have no idea how much I needed this Sunday reset,” she added.

Her post resonated with fans, many of whom praised her dedication to wellness and her message about solidarity. The actress’ participation in the run comes amid a busy period in her career, following her roles in the films Until She Remembers and P77, as well as the series Beauty Empire.

By ending the month with a physical challenge and a reminder about self-care, Forteza highlighted the importance of balancing professional demands with mental and physical well-being.

After ending her seven-year relationship with Jak Roberto, she remains focused on her showbiz career. Rumors connecting her to David Licauco and Jameson Blake are false, as Barbie clarified that they are just friends.
