According to a report by Athena Imperial on 24 Oras, Villanueva attended actual court hearings to observe how legal professionals behave in real-life situations.

“Pumunta ako sa mga court hearings. So I observe attorneys, lawyers, and mga judge din kung paano ‘yung pakikitungo nila sa mga tao," she said.

The actress explained that watching real proceedings helped her understand how lawyers carry themselves and interact with others inside the courtroom.

"So that’s what I observed, parang very sure sila, very precise and kung paano ‘yung pagtindig nila,” she added.

Villanueva portrays Atty. Vanessa Sangalang-Panganiban in the series, which airs on GMA Network’s GMA Afternoon Prime block.

Meanwhile, her co-star Ashley Ortega spoke about working with Villanueva for the first time. In the series, the two actresses play half-sisters, a relationship that required them to build a natural connection on and off camera.

“We really have to build chemistry even off-cam. So lagi kaming tabi sa tent and I love working with Elle. Super chill,” Ashley said.

Both actresses also opened up about sharing scenes with veteran actress Pinky Amador, who plays one of the antagonists in the show.

“Talagang nakakatakot kasi ‘yung tingin niya parang nanunusok, so noong una ko siyang ka-eksena talagang nakakalimutan ko ‘yung lines ko,” Elle shared.
“Sabi ko, 'oh my gosh I’m so sorry' kasi parang I’m stunned,” she added.
