Ellen Adarna is not one to hold back since in a series of fiery Instagram stories, the actress directly addressed veteran columnist Cristy Fermin, calling out what she describes as "misleading and unfair" claims regarding her split with Derek Ramsay.

In her post, Ellen reacted to a video of Fermin suggesting she is "secure" because of Derek's supposed generosity.

"What kind of foolishness is this, Christy Vermin?!" Ellen wrote. "The claims being made are misleading and unfair. Let's set the record straight. Truth matters. Facts matter," she added.

On Instagram, Ellen explained that for the past month, there has been "no sustento" from Derek. According to her, it was only after she reached out to his assistant that he provided a credit card with a P50,000 limit.

"Last month, I told his asst., 'No sustento, no Lili. That simple.' I am not demanding anything beyond what is fair — but I will not allow a father to live comfortably just cooling his b*lls while having little to no contribution to his child because he gets to see her almost everyday."

According to Ellen, the alleged credit card with a P50,000 limit was only given after she called him out.

"That amount covers only 55.88% of the actual breakdown of Liana’s expenses that I clearly presented. Let's be accurate about that," she shared.

One of the biggest points of contention was the claim that Derek's family is providing for Ellen’s needs. Ellen was quick to shut that down, noting that neither Derek nor his mother has ever paid for her staff or her home.

"I have 5 nannies and 2 are for Liana. They only paid for one nanny for Liana. I paid for my own groceries," she clarified. She also noted that they did not provide a house for her, "And they did not provide a house for me. I did that myself. Let us not rewrite history."

Ellen ended her statement with a strong message, asking people to stop branding someone as a "good provider" when the numbers don't match the reality she is allegedly facing.

"So please, let's stop being delusional and stop branding someone as a "good provider" when the numbers and reality say otherwise. A real provider doesn't wait to be called out. He gives willingly, he takes initiative, he doesn't rely on words, flexing, or public image. That's it pancit. Period!" she wrote.
