“Nag-joke ako, sabi ko, 'Ma'am, attend ka sa party ng mga bakla,' and dumating nga siya... More than words, naiiyak ako, sobrang grabe yung pagmamahal mo sakin,” Glenda wrote, opening her message with raw emotion.

She then reflected on how Korina was once someone she admired from afar, long before they became friends. Glenda shared how surreal it feels that the journalist she used to watch and look up to on television is now someone she has shared almost ten years of friendship with.

“Yung dating tinitingala ko pagdating sa pagbabalita, yung taong ginagaya ko lang sa TV, ngayon mag iisang dekada ko ng kaibigan,” she continued.

Glenda also acknowledged Korina’s impact on her public recognition and career, crediting the journalist’s long-running news magazine program for helping introduce her story to a wider audience.

“Korina Sanchez - Roxas, walang hanggang pasasalamat. Kundi dahil sa Rated K, sa kwento mo, hindi ako makikilala. Binigyan mo ako ng pangalan at inspirasyon,” Glenda said, emphasizing how pivotal that exposure was in shaping her path.
