Vice, who is known for his rags-to-riches story, explained that school Christmas parties actually caused him a bit of "trauma" back then. The main source of his anxiety was the traditional exchange gift. Kasi may exchange gift.
The pressure wasn't just about having a gift, but also the quality of it. Vice admitted it felt awkward when his classmates could easily guess what was inside his package. Tapos minsan wala,” he added.
Beyond the gifts, Vice also compared that feeling to the stress of school contributions. He recalled how nerve-wracking it was to hear his name during a roll call when he didn’t have the money to pay. For him, the embarrassment of not being able to contribute was just as heavy as not having a gift to exchange during the class party.
