Earlier, on X (formerly Twitter), the known Filipino broadcaster called out the 'outrage' that some political officials have shown in relation to the controversial issue of corruption in the country.

"Ang cringe ng performative outrage ng ibang mambabatas at opisyal natin. Eh sila naman yung nakikinabang sa korapsyon. Para namang kaming ipinanganak kahapon mga mamser," Atom wrote on his official page, a post that has since earned over 1.1 million views on the platform.

Following the viral tweet, Carla reposted it via @8list.ph's Instagram post and did not hesitate to share her own sentiments about Atom's take on the matter. In her now-viral Instagram story, the Kapuso actress had written, "Exactly. Sa bagay, matagal naman na makapal ang mukha nila."
