In her broadcast update, Maine got honest about her difficulty with verbal expression, especially in a podcast. In her update, Maine admitted she is scared of saying the wrong thing, "If you really know me, you'd know that speaking is not my strongest suit. For some reason, out of kaba and fear of saying the wrong things, I find it hard to express my thoughts well out loud," she admitted.
She went on to say that this limitation left her feeling a bit frustrated because she wanted to share a lot of stories, as well as her thoughts, "It frustrates me because there are so many stories and thoughts I wanted to share in this podcast but I struggled to articulate them the way I wanted."
Despite her concerns, Maine hoped her sentiments would still come across clearly in the podcast, adding. "There are some topics where I tried sharing my story the best I could but I still had a hard time expressing my thoughts clearly. That said, I hope they don't get misunderstood," she said.

Beyond her reflections on the podcast experience, Maine also took the opportunity to clarify a long-circulating story about her supposed audition for Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) back in the day.
According to Maine, there was actually a person who wanted to manage her before. "Just to be clear about the PBB story: I was invited to audition by this person who wanted to manage me. Siya lang ang naglatag ng 'plans' NIYA for me. He introduced himself as a lawyer and talent manager, but as far as I remember, he is not affiliated with PBB or ABS-CBN in any way," she explained, adding that she nearly considered the offer, "I almost accepted it, buti na lang kasama ko si tatay."
To address another question from fans, Maine also spoke about Alden Richards' absence from the podcast, given his major role in Kalyeserye. "For those wondering and asking, Alden was invited to the podcast but he had a prior commitment and wasn't able to join us. Next time!" she wrote.
