Actress Aiko Melendez recently took to social media to share a candid and inspiring update on her personal health journey, opening up about the challenges she has faced due to hypothyroidism—a condition known to cause sudden weight gain, palpitations, and fatigue.

In her heartfelt post, Aiko thanked Dr. Roland Angeles for guiding her recovery with the right medic@tion and close supervision.
“Having hypothyroidism is tough,” she wrote. “But thankfully, under Dr. Roland, I’ve been able to recover step by step.”
While medic@tion helped stabilize her condition, Aiko stressed the importance of sweating out toxins through physical activity. However, with a demanding schedule, she acknowledged the difficulty of sticking to regular gym workouts. That’s where innovation stepped in.
