On Saturday, May 10, Mariel took to her official Instagram page to post a heartfelt message alongside several photos of herself with Camille during the latter's campaign trail around town.

In her now-viral online post, which quickly gained traction across social media platforms, the TV host explained her reason for backing Camille and declared her vote with full confidence as well.

"On Monday, May 12, 2025, I get to vote for you @camillevillar__. I vote for you with so much pride because I know that you are CAPABLE, HARDWORKING and HONEST. I believe in YOU! Congratulations, my dear friend! Robin and I are here for you, always!" she had written online, emphasizing her and husband Robin Padilla's genuine and unwavering support for Camille.

The public endorsement from Mariel, a popular media personality, has since gone viral.

While Mariel's post has garnered quite the public attention from netizens, who have shared their thoughts about the TV host's support for Camille, this is not her first time being in the spotlight.

Previously, Mariel was interviewed by Pops Fernandez, where she talked about bashers.

Mariel admitted that she used to be hurt by the bashers of her husband and that she was also previously affected by questions regarding Robin's capability as a senator and public servant.
