Kris Aquino, in a recent interview with Ogie Diaz, shared her heartfelt wish for her youngest son, Bimby Aquino-Yap, to follow what she believes is his “calling and destiny” and enter politics.

The actress-host, often referred to as ‘Queen of All Media’, expressed her dream of witnessing Bimby sworn in as mayor, citing his ability to connect with people, his honesty, and his financial prudence as ideal qualities for public service.

“Sabi ko sana umabot ako ng another seven [years]… God, dagdag? So seven plus seven, para umabot ako, makita ko swearing-in nya as mayor. That’s my dream. Because gusto nya, marunong sya maki-deal sa lahat ng tao. Oh my gosh, sobrang honest nito, so hindi yan magnanakaw at all. At magaling mag budget so maaalagaan nya ang mga tao,” Kris stated.

Bimby, who recently celebrated his 18th birthday, acknowledged the possibility of a future in politics, describing it as “a calling and destiny.”

However, his immediate focus is on his education. In the same interview, Bimby revealed his plans to pursue Legal Management in college, with the ultimate goal of becoming a lawyer.

“Legal management, to become a lawyer," Bimby shared, envisioning a diverse career path that could potentially span business, politics, and even showbiz.

Beyond his academic and potential political aspirations, Bimby has earned praise for his dedication to caring for his mother, who is battling nine autoimmune diseases.
