The message, sent at midnight, called AC “plastic” and told her to leave both the show and the world, saying it would be better if people like her were gone.
A second message, sent hours later, was even harsher. The person wished for her death, saying “sana masagasaan ka ng truck.”
Instead of fighting back with the same anger, AC responded with calm words and a touch of humor.
She wrote, “wait lang, Ate. may mga pangarap pa po ako. darating din tayo diyan pero baka matagal pa. iiwas nalang ako sa truck.”
AC’s calm reply reminded many that hate doesn’t need to be met with more hate. Sometimes, grace and a little humor speak louder.
This should be a reminder as well that words even if typed behind a screen, can cut deep.
Sending hate messages, especially ones that wish harm or death can affect someone’s mental and emotional health. These actions are not only disrespectful but dangerous.
The internet is not a free pass to be cruel. Having an opinion is okay but it's never okay to attack someone or wish them harm.
As AC showed, staying kind is the stronger choice.
