Juan Karlos 'JK' Labajo, a Filipino singer-songwriter, has recently made headlines after paying his respects at the wake of Trisha Macalagay, a beauty queen and devoted fan, residing in Laguna.
It is worth noting that Trisha was the sole victim of a fire that spread and occurred on the campus of the Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU), which was reported by various news outlet.

Prior to JK's visit, Fernandez had penned a heartfelt message to the singer, requesting him to sign portrait photos of Trisha and to perform his rendition of "Through The Years" in her honor also.
In his note, Fernandez conveyed that fulfilling this wish would bring immense joy to Trisha, who was an avid fan of the Kapamilya singer and his various works and songs in the industry.
"Dear Juan Karlos, I have a very special task for Trisha Macalagay today and for her bereaved family, it is my mission for you to sign these beautiful portraits of her, as an avid fan of yours, it will be her great joy and happiness as she watches over you sing your rendition of the song, Through The Years. Alam ko na suntok sa dilaw na buwan ang kahilingang ito, subalit isang karangalan na maipaabot sa iyo ang kanyang huling kahilingan."

Juan Karlos Labajo is a singer-composer and the frontman of a band that carries his own name, Juan Karlos. He rose to fame after becoming one of the top contenders in the popular talent competition, The Voice Kids Philippines, in 2014. He placed third in the said contest, just right behind Darren Espanto and Lyca Gairanod. After The Voice, JK appeared in various shows and flicks on TV.
