Cristine Reyes, a Filipina actress, made a swift and emotional journey from Baguio to Manila after waking up to alarming calls and messages about her father's serious condition in the hospital.

The actress immediately rushed to be by his side at the World Citi Medical Center in Quezon City.

Taking to Instagram, Cristine shared a heartfelt and hopeful message, featuring a photo of herself and her daughter, Amarah Khatibi, with the hospital in the background, during the evening.

In her caption, the well-known actress expressed her distress and determination to be with her father during this challenging time in their family, with netizens rallying behind the celebrity.

"From Baguio to Manila. Nagising ako sa tawag at texts na nag-agaw buhay si daddy... Tumakbo agad ako sa ospital para makita kundisyon niya. Lumalaban pa rin si daddy... walang imposible," she wrote.

As of this writing, Cristine has not yet provided further updates on her father's condition, but her words reflect hope and faith in his fight for survival, saying that nothing is impossible online.

Previously, in December 2024, a video of Cristine crying while hurriedly leaving the venue of the MMFF's 'Gabi ng Parangal' quickly spread among netizens on several social media websites.

The known actress can be seen with security personnel while talking to someone on the phone.

Eventually, amid the video going viral, it was then revealed that Ara Mina and Cristine's mother was rushed to the hospital on the night of the MMFF event which made the latter emotional.

Ara confirmed in a message to KAMI that Cristine's tears were due to their mother’s condition.

According to Ara's Instagram update, their mother was transferred from the emergency room to a private room and that Cristine stayed by her mother's side at the hospital, along with her daughter.

Cristine Reyes is a popular actress in the Philippines. Her sister is veteran star, Ara Mina. She became known when she joined GMA-7’s reality TV program, StarStruck. On January 27, 2016, Cristine married Ali Khatibi in a private ceremony, and they have a daughter named Amarah. However, Cristine and Ali’s separation was confirmed in 2019. She is now with Marco Gumabao.

In her Instagram, Cristine revealed that the house is going to be for her 'tatay-tatayan.' She also provided a number for people to contact.
