Pokwang went to the National Bureau of Investigation to file a complaint against a scammer.
According to the 'Kapuso' comedian, her Antipolo address and its pinned location are being falsely used as a staycation resort to deceive people.
In an interview with Emil Sumangil on GMA 7's '24 Oras,' Pokwang clarified that no such resort exists in the area, contrary to the photos circulating online that falsely use her address.
She revealed that since December, around three to five people have been knocking on her door, believing they had booked a stay at the supposed resort advertised on social media.

"Minsan sa loob ng isang araw, ang pumupunta, ang kumakatok dito, tatlo hanggang limang biktima. Sa isang araw lang 'yun. At karamihan 'dun nagda-down na. May 7,000, may 5,000, may 10,000. Sa isang linggo, kumikita siya nang mahigit-kumulang 200,000," shared Pokwang.
Refund from the scammed down payments was also impossible because the suspect already blocked its victims in social media where the transaction was done.
She had no idea how her address was used by the scammer. They already put a notice in front of their house, telling everyone that it's a private property and not a resort for rent.
"Natatakot ako para sa family ko. Nilagay mo sa risk 'yung buhay ng pamilya ko. Hindi kita titigilan. Kakasuhan ko siya," Pokwang said furiously.
Pokwang already filed a formal complaint at the NBI's Anti Cyber-Crime Division.
She also encouraged the scammers' victims to help her find the culprit.

The actress then mentioned the price of the property, which she indicated to be still "nego."
In another viral showbiz news about her, Pokwang, in a recent post on social media, said she realized why someone she didn’t name won’t return her YouTube channel. She said she recently looked into the particular YouTube channel and saw that it was still “up and running.” The TV host comedienne then discovered something about the channel that surprised her. Pokie then said that she’s now studying on how to take down the said channel.
