Aira Lopez, a well-known content creator, just stirred online buzz after reflecting on 'age gaps' in romantic relationships recently.

On her Instagram page, Aira expressed her confusion as to why 'age gaps' in relationships are still a 'big problem' for several people.

In her now-viral post, Aira talked about having a '20-year age gap' before explaining herself.

According to the triathlete, she would rather choose a 'mature' partner over someone her age who might 'lack the ability' in areas.

"I don't know why, until now, age gaps in relationships are still a big problem for people. Yes, there's a 20-year age gap. But I'd rather choose a mature, smart, hardworking, and RESPECTFUL partner over someone my age who lacks the ability to treat a woman well. After all, drama and headaches often come with someone our age. Haha! #Aminin," she had written on social media.

Previously, Aira made headlines when she and Mark Leviste confirmed and hard-launched their relationship via a post on TikTok.

Just recently, the two even flew to Hong Kong to celebrate Valentine's Day together this year.

Mark, the Vice Governor of Batangas, was once in a relationship with Kris Aquino, known as the 'Queen of All Media' in showbiz.

However, the two had an on-and-off relationship, with Kris even announcing their breakups on her Instagram page back in the day.

Back in 2023, Kris even called Mark her 'best friend and confidante' and said the latter is reliable.

"He wasn’t only my boyfriend, he became my best friend and confidante, talagang maaasahan. The usage of WAS is correct," she wrote in one of her viral posts on the photo-sharing app.

Aira Lopez is a content creator and triathlete who is under GMA Network as a Sparkle artist. She also has a YouTube channel which now has gained over 633,000 subscribers on the website. Aside from this, Aira also made headlines in January of 2025 after she and Mark Leviste went official with their relationship on social media.

As previously reported by KAMI, Mark Leviste has reacted to Kris Aquino's new relationship. In a statement that he gave to The Star, the vice governor confirmed that he and Kris have indeed gone their separate ways. He admitted that he was saddened at the turn of events in their relationship but expressed happiness for Krissy anyway.

Meanwhile, Mark Leviste visited the tomb of Kris Aquino's late mother, former President Cory Aquino, on what would have been her 91st birthday at the Manila Memorial Park. Leviste accompanied Kris' sisters in visiting Cory's tomb. In another post, Leviste revealed that he also visited the late former President Noynoy Aquino.
