However, not everyone was impressed. A Twitter user accused the show of using autotune on Maymay’s voice, making it obvious that she was the celebrity singer.

Instead of ignoring the comment, Maymay personally replied to the netizen.

She politely denied the claim and even admitted that her performance wasn’t perfect.

"Hi po ma’am. Hindi po naka autotune yan, may mga flats pa nga po ako eh.. hihi. Sorry if I wasn’t good enough sainyo. I’ll do better," she wrote.

Her response gained attention from netizens, who praised her for handling criticism with grace and humility.

Many also defended her, saying she doesn’t need autotune because she has already proven her talent in singing.

Maymay released hit songs like ‘Kakayanin Kaya,’ ‘Amakabogera,’ and ‘Autodeadma.’ Her songs often trend on social media and are performed on big stages.
