Amy Perez took to social media and shared a throwback video featuring well-loved Taiwanese actor Jerry Yan.

Jerry is popularly known as Dao Ming Si of ‘Meteor Garden.’ He starred alongside the late Barbie Hsu, who played the role of Shan Cai.

In the reel she posted on her Instagram page, @amypcastillo, Tiyang Amy showed her interview with the actor back in 2005.

The reel also contains clips from Jerry’s show in Cebu on July 15, 2005.

Jerry recently made headlines after paying a heartfelt tribute to Barbie.

In the Chinese social media platform Weibo, the actor briefly recalled his time with Barbie when they worked before. According to Jerry, Barbie always told them to 'live every day as if it were your last.'

"Thankful for meeting you, in your carefree childlike years, you always said to live every day as if it were your last and enjoy it to the fullest. I hope this time, you will go slowly and from now on, in another world, there will be no troubles and the years will be peaceful," Jerry mournfully wrote.

To recall, Barbie died at the age of 48, as confirmed by her family. She succumbed to pneumonia after getting it during their Japan tour for the Chinese New Year period.
