Darryl Yap, in a series of screenshots shared by online media outlet FashionPulis, said he wouldn’t refuse if he’s given money by the political rivals of the Sottos or TVJ because of his new movie about the late Pepsi Paloma.

In the said screenshot, he reiterated that his new movie was neither produced by the Discayas or the Jalosjos siblings.

“Hindi produced ng mga Jalosjos (Kaaway ng TVJ) o ng mga Discaya (Kalaban ni Vico),” Direk Darryl said in his post.

“Hindi ako padidikta sa pelikulang pangarap gawin ng bawat Batang Gapo, hindi pulitikal ang pelikulang tungkol sa kababayan ko,” he added, in reference to Pepsi who, like him, was also from Olongapo.

He said, however, that if the said personalities would find his movie favorable to them and because of that, they would give him money, he wouldn’t refuse it.

“Wala akong pake sa mga drama nila. Pero kung pakiramdam nila eh pabor sa kanila ang paglalahad ko ng buong kwento at gusto nila akong bigyan ng pera, SINO BA NAMAN AKO PARA TUMANGGI?!” Direk Darryl said.

“Hindi ako mapagmalaking tao. Hindi ako mapride,” he added.

The famous director then asked netizens to tag them, perhaps referring to the personalities he mentioned, so they might see his post.

“Tag nyo nga,” Direk Darryl said.

Darryl Yap is a Filipino filmmaker director and screenwriter known for producing controversial films and online content. He is also behind VinCentiments, a social media platform that produces short films and viral videos that often deal with issues of life society and politics.

It can also be recalled that Vic Sotto's name was mentioned in the teaser of Darryl Yap's Pepsi Paloma movie. The clip featuring Rhed Bustamante as Pepsi garnered reactions from netizens. Yap clarified that the production of the film is not connected to Jalosjos or Discaya.

Meanwhile previously, in the middle of the heated discussion about the alleged answer of Chloe San Jose and daughter of Ai-ai Delas Alas, Sophia Delas Alas, Darryl Yap shared his opinion.
