Neri Naig-Miranda, an actress and entrepreneur, is making headlines after she was apprehended by the Southern Police District on Saturday, November 23.

The arrest was about her alleged estafa and violation of the Securities Regulation Code, as per an article by ABS-CBN News.

ABS-CBN News also took to social media to publish a video of the arrest at a convention center in a mall in Pasay City.

As seen in the video, a police officer was reading the warrant of arrest issued by Regional Trial Court, Branch 111, Pasay City in front of the wife of Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda.

Neri Naig Miranda is an actress who first gained recognition when she joined ABS-CBN's reality show "Star Circle Quest." She was named the 6th runner-up in the talent search. In 2014, she married Chito Miranda, the lead vocalist of the band Parokya ni Edgar.
