Neri Naig-Miranda, an actress and businesswoman, was arrested by the Southern Police District on Saturday.
The arrest was related to her alleged involvement in estafa and violations of the Securities Regulation Code, with multiple sources confirming the information to ABS-CBN.
According to the SPD, the 41-year-old actress, who also goes by the alias "Erin," was apprehended at a convention center in a mall in Pasay City.
She was listed as the 7th most wanted person at the station level due to 14 charges of violating the Securities Regulation Code, the Southern Police District added.

Additionally, the Pasay City Regional Trial Court issued the warrant of arrest on two separate dates, September 18, 2024, and October 16, 2024.
Bail was recommended to be at P126,000 for each count of securities violations. Moreover, there's also a separate case of estafa at the RTC Branch 112 filed against Neri.
Meanwhile, Neri was issued a commitment order with no recommended bail.
