Derek Ramsay recently revealed in his latest online post that his mother, Remedios Ramsay, was sent to the hospital and had to undergo surgery.

On Wednesday, October 16, Derek shared a few details about what happened to his mother, revealing that the latter had a bad fall and broke a forearm.

According to Derek, it was the "scariest moment" of his life and that it was very difficult to see his mother "screaming and crying due to the pain."

"The other day, my mom took a bad fall and broke her forearm. Seeing her fall and seeing her in so much pain was the scariest moment of my life. My mom is a strong woman, so it was difficult to see her screaming and crying due to the pain," he wrote.

Halfway through his post, Derek revealed his mom had a surgery and that it was a successful one.

"The day after, my mom had her surgery, and it was a successful one. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses who took care of her. Thank you, guys, for all your prayers and well wishes. Thank you, Lord, for answering all our prayers! Mom is back to putting on her own makeup, which is definitely a good sign!" he shared.
