Anthony Taberna, in a recent post on Facebook, can’t help but feel very disappointed with the hacking of his YouTube channel, “Tune in kay Tunying,” that the broadcast journalist said he nurtured for several years.

In the same statement, Anthony said the hackers changed the name and content of his YT channel.
Instead of videos of his interviews and feature stories, the channel now displayed video posts about crypto solutions.
“Nais ko pong ipaalam sa lahat na ang aking youtube channel, “tune” in kay tunying,” ay na-hack ilang oras na po ang nakakalipas. Ito po ay kasalukuyan na ngayong may pangalan na micro strategy at may postings tungkol sa crypto solutions para sa negosyo,” Anthony said.

He said they’re now in the process of retrieving the said channel and re-publishing the videos, though its name remained “Micro Strategy” as hackers named it as it could take about 14 days to change it again.
“Lahat po ng ating original postings ay tinanggal po nila, but we are currently in the process of retrieving our channel and re-publishing our videos. The youtube channel name, however, remains as micro strategy as it usually takes around 14 days to change it,” the broadcast journalist said.
He reminded followers that during the past months, there were fake excerpts of his interviews with billionaires claiming to achieve financial success because of cryptocurrency.
Ka Tunying advised followers that they shouldn’t be lured by such fake interviews, which were aimed at getting crypto followers.
“If you may recall, nito pong mga nakaraang buwan ay may mga kumakalat na fake excerpts of our interviews with billionaires and other vips, implying that they achieved massive financial success due to cryptocurrency,” the broadcast journalist said.
“We have repeatedly advised our subscribers and the public not be lured by these fake interviews, clearly aimed at getting crypto followers. But this time, they took the deception to another level and hacked our youtube channel where we premiere our bi-monthly digital newscast “tune in kay tunying, live!” And other educational, inspiring and funny stories and commentaries,” he added.
“We have reported this hacking incident to the nbi, and we are earnestly praying to rightfully take back our channel that we have painstakingly built through the years. May the vicious minds behind this happening be dealt with accordingly. Para po sa inyong kaalaman. Ibayong pag-iingat pa po sa lahat ng may digital channels,” Ka Tunying concluded in his statement.
Anthony Taberna is a Filipino broadcaster. He is known as Ka Tunying. He is known for being a part of ABS-CBN’s Umagang Kay Ganda and of Dos Por Dos. Anthony used to be a broadcaster on ABS-CBN but he is now part of the AMBS 2 family.
