- The three Filipina gymnasts went to the US immediately after Paris, and two of them only arrived on August 15

- Cynthia also explained that if she knew earlier, then it would truly be a proud moment for her to have the four PH gymnasts at the Heroes' Welcome

Cynthia Carrion, the GAP President, apologized publicly to the PH gymnasts Emma Malabuyo, Aleah Finnegan, and Levi Ruivivar, who were not able to attend the Heroes' Welcome.

In a press conference, Emma and Aleah were with her.

She explained that she was only given a last minute notice concerning the events that await the Olympians of the Philippines.

Accordingly, the three female gymnasts immediately went back to the U.S. and only Emma and Aleah arrived on Aug. 15 in Manila for the two-day training.

She also said that had she known, she would truly be proud of having the four of them at the celebration.

Carlos Edriel Yulo is a Filipino artistic gymnast known for his exceptional skills and achievements in gymnastics. He gained international recognition for his performances in various competitions, particularly in the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. He won two gold medals in gymnastics' men's floor exercise and men's vault in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Just recently, Rufa Mae Quinto dedicated a hilarious post to Carlos Yulo. On her Instagram page, the comedienne congratulated the two-time Olympic gold medalist. In her post, Rufa Mae likewise shared a funny clip from “Super B” movie. Super B, played by Rufa Mae, and other characters were seen doing several backflips in the said clip.
