Andrea Brillantes attended "Vogue Talks" and asked a very significant question about local brands.
The actress owns Lucky Beauty, a makeup brand, and she was wondering what strategies to have in the future, which could help bridge the gap between international and local brands.
"Hi, I'm Andrea Brillantes. I'm an actress and I also own a makeup brand. So my question is, many filipinos tend to spend a significant amount on international luxury brands. Yet they are often frugal when it comes to supporting local brands not all. Uhm, in order to bridge this gap and position local brands to be at par with international counterparts in the future, what strategies do you believe can be implemented to encourage greater support for local brands among Filipinos?" Andrea asked.
